Mercy

Another bar and femme fatale
A seductress after a few drinks
He wavers, tosses in the towel
She is more fatal than he thinks

She drags him to her dingy room
And shoves him to the single bed
Again he has that sense of doom
An inkling he will end up dead

She says that it has been a while
Reluctant to produce her knife
Her dry spell snuffed, a gorgeous smile
She will allow this man some life.
