Pleasing The Shadowed Side

Thoughts linger on the shadowed side, they flit,
Recalling memories of vapid life;
The purple evening cools come dusk; night's lit
By glowing silhouettes that tremble, rife
With passion, pulled apart in violet seas;

When walking on the beach by the tall cliffs,
Who'll see the sensual come on promont'ries?
These headlands jut out, as you might, so stiff;
But what is it that's wanted? What's desired?
Who needs to feel the heart beat? Who is parched?

Who'll kiss away the dreams? Who will be mired
In harsh nightmares? Who'll make the wet lips march
The length? It matters not - dark tongue will glide,
Subdued and soft, pleasing your shadowed side...
