Dare I Dream

Dare I dream,
that she might find me intriguing?

Dare I dream,
that she could stop and wonder?

Dare I dream,
that, per chance she wants to know me?

Dare I dream,
for her to greet me with an inviting smile?

Dare I dream,
for a chance to know her?

Dare I dream,
for a chance to win her heart?

Dare I dream,
her heart might flutter a bit?

Dare I dream,
her thoughts may dwell on me once or twice?

Dare I dream,
her eyes might watch the door hopefully?

Dare I dream,
she could want me near?

Dare I dream,
she might be just a little curious about me?

Dare I dream,
she does hope to see if there might be something real?

Dare I dream?
My Love?

Dare I dream?
My darling?

Dare I dream?
She tells the truth?

she might dream of me,
