Soul traveling,
Mind unraveling.
Just a momentary being,
infinite time I am seeing.

Far out past this reality,
away from this society.
This drug infested civilization,
drugs in everything.
How can we claim to be sober?
as these drugs take us over.
In your food
in the air,
affecting your mood,
still we're not aware but we should care
about what we're really consuming.

Poisons in the sky stay looming over
a chemically induced population,
full of frustration and pain,
enough to drive them insane.
Deterioration of the Brain
reclusive behavior and seclusion only remains.
Substance abusers,
junkie users,
victims, addicts caught in
dramatic downward spirals.
An addiction epidemic, people
looking for an escape from reality.
Whether it's pain,
self hatred or existential angst,
we get hooked on euphoria.

We're walking altered states of consciousness and
our society only shows us how to suppress these disturbing feelings,
A pill for this
A pill for that
no matter where you're at.
No more willpower
no self control, just crushing your soul
stuck in a bottomless hole.

A nation of addicts
yearning for an escape
hooked on the wrong drugs.
The worst drugs of all,
The ones that make you fall
flat on your face and then you wake without a trace of what happened.
The pills, the alcohol, the heroin, meth, crack, coke, bathsalts, more pills more pills, caffeine, excessive technology
This shit is wack what a joke.
Its sad to see so many of us so damaged and lost.
Livin life in a distorted synthetic drug haze
