Oh my lovely child before me
With your big brown eyes upon me
What do you think of me
I know its been hard for you
With just only a mom
I pray I do right by you
Just me and my son
It has not been easy
It has not always been fun

You are the whole world to me

I wrote this for my son in 2004 when I was a single mom
now he is 22 and so very proud of him
