OLD FRIEND

Poetry how I have abandoned you old friend
Healer of my wounds
The anti to my hate
The stronghold of my weakness
All this is happening because I replaced you old friend
I put no mercy on your existence
I didn't value our golden moments
To me you are like cannabis, indica sativa, you always levitate my spirit
Poetry, my channel, my canal, my dam, my overflow
You wave from afar and oversee my troubles
And in my sea of troubles, my faith in you makes me walk on water
Holy as you maybe you were a drug I was addicted to
Felony felony felony, we killed negativity like a sacrificial goat just to cleanse ourselves
The joyance in happiness was scribed upon rocks
You were like a prayer to me but different words everytime
An archaic song bring memories when I read parts of you I created
Bonafide vibrant moments we always invent
I shared my heart with you I was In Vent
I abandoned you, how stupid
I'm thinking to myself how could I let my heart hang like a pinyana
Poetry the chest to my heart, protector of my treasure
