Slow Strength for You

.....and You continue to cause me to Fall for You daily...

I was thinking the other day about how after a Beautiful cleansing rain
Life in general perks up and plants look brighter
Air breathes fresh and cleaner
and even wildlife teems with enthusiasm.

This is how my love has grown for You.
Our interactions daily have slowly grown
to more than the occasional chat and we speak
in loving meaningful shares. Our play is
Brighter; we giggle and sigh in Fresh clean
tones and our shares are deep and we speak
with giddy delight.

And after this big rain, one of the biggest pains
occur when we hear (and feel) that familiar
CRUNCH beneath our shoes and often we cringe.
This is the emotional negative obstacles
to our relationship but I am determined to rid
us of this with my ever Slow Strength for You.

My fierce love is liken to that of the soldier
snail, a Decollate Snail, who will seek out
these obstacles and slay them and make them go
away.

Like the Beautiful Decollate, this will take
time and patience but organically speaking
this sloooooooooow process will be worth it in
the end and You and me, us
we will be so much stronger for it.
