Wings Of Peace

Never have I seen these many days
sun you refuse to shine
and I just wonder why
 
world your weights burden
a constant fight amid the fear
closer, ever getting closer
but still you push away
 
I don't want you a different way
 
the sound of temptation echos
off into a new found land
take my shaking hand
 
see for we can see
rise let our new sun rise
 
caress the warmth, the repose
