Double Take

Your ambiguity sings to me,
my eyes burst open; I turn
my head for a second look.

You wear that suit well, but your
structure speaks to something
soft; you croon and I melt.

Saucy girls with their glitter
faces can slide on by; I need
white shirt, suspender dreams.

There is no requirement for
the specificity of how you
wear those characteristics;

they just hang in a balance, neither
one way or the other, bringing
their own heat.
