in the end, you had simply been lying to yourself - you did love him romantically; it has been long since you proclaimed your intentions, one that had been received and returned in the most positive manner.
no longer do the voices garble and claw incessantly, chased away by a knight of heart who fought tooth and nail for your smile alone.
the fear that engulfed, the terror that blinded, it still remains; for there are still many trials and gauntlets you must face - but now, they will not be alone.
within a day, the lives of elf and knight will forever transform into one, a life that you had only grasped within dreams, a remnant of a modicum of time where flesh had grazed flesh.
and the world, despite all the flaws and discourse will be just a little brighter, a little lighter and the voices may finally cease to be.

part 2 of nas'falon and my life has shifted drastically. no longer does depression grip my mind as it used to, there is someone to quiet those voices now. we have since established our love for each other and within a year, we will be married.
