If I die Tomorrow

Offer your hand in guidance
to the other side.

You’ve always been there…
and still.

The world’s eye
shunned me in early years;
you‘ve kept strong for me.

I’m weak I admit!
I yield finally to your reason!
It cannot end here like this!

Wandering in fog;
these hands stretch my prospect,
awaiting your grasp.

Trepidation clothed with death.
Will you be there waiting?
Or be it inferno’s warrior?

Life’s too painful,
I must know now!

Life’s misery;
death’s contentment.
