EARLY MORNING NUDE

To give me that endorphin rush
I do what might make others blush;
in healthy-minded attitude
I have my breakfast in the nude.

That's 'me time' as God intended -
not even fig-leaf appended.
I share with Him my naked truth,
as in day's of creation's youth.

Though my love life be far from hot,
it helps me love what I have got,
and find that contentment within
that comes with ease in one's own skin.

The newly bathed or showered flesh
has been anointed and smells fresh,
giving such times in nudity
a little sense of purity.

Before the clothes of day be worn
I go like day that I was born.
After a good sleep in the hay
I reflect the birth of the day.

The body and soul get on well
when I'm in the au naturel.
One is more close to harmony
in Adam/Eve-like nudity.

When I am reading DUP
it heightens sensitivity
to the erotic poetry,
even inspiring some from me.
