Passerby

In my passing,
please do not light a candle for me.
you can not illuminate emotions
or hide the dark of sad
 that longs to
take hold and
stay…

Prior to all of
Please do not blow
out the flame,
the glow,
of love -
the emotional flow
between spaces.
I opt for no....
longing to Feel
a way without crusted eyes
blinded by tears of woe.

Personally, my Past is in the past. I am looking forward,  & moving.
As I take this first step
through the archway to the stars
it is with hope of events to come,
a resolve which will no longer
be fueled with seasoned tears
& may be open for interpretation.
