Bared by the Wind
Her eyes spell dreams in skywriting
For misty words to tell the story
Written in letters of blue on white
For earthbound lovers to read
In irises opening to heaven
Where secrets are boundless
in the deep blue quiet
For a wicked smile to beam St. Elmo’s Fire
Out of the cake, she leaps
Like a naked oracle of Delphi
Writing on plateaus of pleasure
For Greek choruses to sing praises
With her cloud robes blown away
