Girl in the shadows

We can fall in love without a single touch, fill our hearts with hope and lust, but when it all together becomes too much and we break the silence and we just... are enough.  
 
You are enough for me as I am for you, with thoughts and feelings and an opinion I value, you speak your mind and you say it true, one moment one night one look in your eyes and I knew... I loved you.  
 
I can honestly say that I just don’t care, about the if’s who’s and the what’s out there, even if what I feel brings hurt and despair, it is full and true and simply can not compare and I know... it’s unfair.  
 
I cannot imagine what you’ll think of this, feeling as I do without so much as a kiss, but by the gods and the earth in an eternal abyss, as what I feel cannot be revealed please do not dismiss and on this I... must insist.
