The Sparrow

Another sun has set today;
another day of life has gone.
The birds know what direction take
as anxiously they set their nose
towards home.
Somewhere, beyond the ocean,
a sparrow is gazing the skies;
her lost lover, she feels approaching,
yet today will not arrive.
Seperated by a destiny, as fate rolls
out its thread; the sparrow knows
not where or when her lover
will raise his head.
A promise they had made,
to raise the chant of love,
so as when love approaches,
she can prepare their bed.
They'll make sweet love
in tenderness, not escluding
passionate outbursts;
over and over and over again,
until their bodies quench
their lustful thirst.
