Strange Apparatus / Rather Unwieldy
Suddenly / As in "all of a sudden" /
He
realized that he couldn't
tell
the difference between
fate and faith.......yet,
Faith seemed akin to a hollow log, and
Fate
was (uh, proverbially)
none-of-his-business.
And both kinda
came together in the remnants of
a brokedown
" soft
machine"

well, such is as much for so much to be given to idle litter'ary speculation.

Soft Machine.....borrowed from Wm. S.Burroughs.
Soft Machine* ....also name of great Brit prog-rock band, (name borrowed from Burroughs as well)
* March 1968 Soft Machine opened for Jimi Hendrix on his first US tour. I was there for the show at State University of New York at Stoney Brook.
