You never know

Still a virgin without a care
ever since the surgeon pulled me out in the bare.
Umbilical cord wrapped around my neck,
Is he still breathing? Does he need air? Somebody better check, this birth is a wreck.
I made it through though, just goes to show you never know which direction your life is gonna go,
you never know how the rhyme is gonna flow
or how long you can go and stay a virgin.
In this society it seems like an obscenity to keep your virginity.
My own fault I suppose I am my own worst enemy.
Always the shy one to never leave my comfort zone
Hence why I'm still alone but not lonely
as I notice I'm the only one here getting
lost in the music, deep in the poetry, melting into yoga.
Rather content in this world of mine
though I haven't found a genuine connection.
A lack of effort largely on my part,
not sure where to start.
Letting the words flow straight from my heart.
"Thought I oughta bare my naked feelings"
