Lighthouse
There's just nothing like Texas in the summertime
Never did I think it would forever change my life
Underneath the water's where I lay to rest my dreary head
In the sun, I cannot see
Happy birthday, they're all dead
Where did mom and dad go?
Where is sister Lana?
Lighthouses won't save them
In the rain or shine
There's no use in friendship, they'll just give you sorrow
There's no use in beaches, life is only borrowed
I know it's sad, but I don't remember how to cry
It's time to say goodnight, no more lullabies
What do you want me to do?
"You can do anything you want."
What do you want me to do?
"You can do everything you want."
Where did mom and dad go?
Where is sister Lana?
Lighthouses won't save them
In the rain or shine
Where did mom and dad go?
They went up to Heaven
I got to find a lighthouse
Mine is old and broken
Never did I think it would forever change my life
Underneath the water's where I lay to rest my dreary head
In the sun, I cannot see
Happy birthday, they're all dead
Where did mom and dad go?
Where is sister Lana?
Lighthouses won't save them
In the rain or shine
There's no use in friendship, they'll just give you sorrow
There's no use in beaches, life is only borrowed
I know it's sad, but I don't remember how to cry
It's time to say goodnight, no more lullabies
What do you want me to do?
"You can do anything you want."
What do you want me to do?
"You can do everything you want."
Where did mom and dad go?
Where is sister Lana?
Lighthouses won't save them
In the rain or shine
Where did mom and dad go?
They went up to Heaven
I got to find a lighthouse
Mine is old and broken
