Serenity

He loves her serene smile - is she asleep?
Or is she just quite lost in other worlds?
He's tied her tight and here is the relief
That he would want her waking to; unfurled,
The flag that she surrenders is the one
That cements victories yet to be won;
He bound her to him and was quite undone
When she is loosened, but he'll find the fun
Is just about to start, although the dance,
May well be far away, she'll stretch and yawn,
Sensing his insistence on his essence:
Obedient to his wishes to be borne
When he opens his mouth, whispering - "now":
It's time serenity should be on show.
