Day comes to a close
The sun settles on the horizon
The blanket of night pulls over

Night brings with it sleep

                             a closing past

                                    an opening tomorrow

                                                a promising change


Living in the present we say goodbye to the past:

                              a past that is remembered...

                                          for a future that is born

we press on
 
      the world turns

                  a baby cries with the coming of the dawn
