Bassin Bleu (D's Serenade III)
I sigh as I dip my head back
In relief, relaxation, redemption
The dive is long and steady
Slightly dampened in anticipation
You trickle across my lips as I break the surface
Before I can breathe, I’m surrounded
In this fountain of youth
As I part the sea, I’ve found you
I venture further into the walls of the basin
I’ve been here before
At least in my headspace
Awaiting the cool night where your head lays upon my chest
Showered in the warmth of the love we make
It was here
I journeyed the deep end as the crevice deepened, and sweat seeps the spine as I reach deep in
And succumb to the water falling to the stream
We shall meet again
In relief, relaxation, redemption
The dive is long and steady
Slightly dampened in anticipation
You trickle across my lips as I break the surface
Before I can breathe, I’m surrounded
In this fountain of youth
As I part the sea, I’ve found you
I venture further into the walls of the basin
I’ve been here before
At least in my headspace
Awaiting the cool night where your head lays upon my chest
Showered in the warmth of the love we make
It was here
I journeyed the deep end as the crevice deepened, and sweat seeps the spine as I reach deep in
And succumb to the water falling to the stream
We shall meet again
