Introspectively Beautiful

I sensed traces of beauty within
and refined elegance a bit;
though tender, youthful lips. . .
diction wise and thoughtful wit.

If messy mortals we are and must be,
with respect to You, it hardly shows.
I wonder. . .
What makes You different? What makes You free?
What generates warmth?  What tickles?  What glows?
I wonder. . .
How many have experienced this part----
Kissed Your gentleness, embraced Your HEART.

The moon has grown full of it
amidst star-lit skies;
and seductive breezes seem to fit
perfectly with enchanted sighs.
aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh..............
LOVE, surely only TIME can tell,
if it's a dream or a well crafted spell.

Alas!  I must sorely know ----
What kind of sorcery is this?!
To ensnare my heart without a touch,
Without a kiss!

Could it be,
what I believed to be true?
Can it be,
Beauty within:  each facet different, each one You!

Lying in wait,
for a knight brightly shining to behold
of waiting in patience,
for a beloved shining brightly to hold?

Though my logic dams a multitude of emotions
I am still intoxicated by Your presence.
As the night ages considerably
and daybreak draws near, a hangover is imminent;
its definition predictably clear. . .
" the thing that will occupy my head I didn't use the night before. "

of love, of time, of searching ----
I wish we had more..........
