A Helpful Hand

The red glow of the city street
bounces across your naked body
standing at the window

drinking you in
your back to me
you wonder
if I am awake

smoke in one hand
the other sliding
across the smooth
grazing a little

You hear me approach
but remain aloof
until I grab that hand
and repeat.
