An affair, friction, and hearts eaten as Georgia peaches.

She liked my nose and hated her smile,
I loved her everything.

fragments spewing of a familiar thought.

I left passion trapped,
ghosts in words confined walls
leaving none for myself.

a pilgrimage proved fruitless
once again.
