The rain for Halloween
Sure didn’t scare a teen,
From knocking on the door
Trick or treat to get some more,
An example to persist
When troubles will insist,
Or else when you have love
Impassive and a bit rough,
Its high time to convince
That I might be that prince,
Who’ll make your life a sonnet
While burning as a comet.
