Ice Knife
it used to be
i’d wake to your heart beat
should of been easy to see
but I was in love, in love
with the way you were using me
guess it’s true what they say
the more beautiful the girl
the sharper her fangs
Hunnie, you’re a savage
maybe that’s why I need you
confusing the moment
for a scent that would last forever
tearing me limb from limb
I can’t simply let go
nor will I stick around
the very thought is a ice knife
thinking you put a curse on me
feeling it harder when I’m alone
over my head
and out of my league
a smarter man would of seen
the hell that was coming his way
Hunnie, you’re a savage
maybe that’s why I need you
confusing the moment
for a scent that would last forever
fairy tales end
with a beautiful scenario
not for a Devil’s child
still, I would buy a thousand roses
write a million love poems
if only I could see your smiling face
doesn’t matter you did me wrong
isn’t it funny though?
