I Remember

I Remember when you used to love me
Or was it all in my imagination?
We used to flirt poexually
Sometimes to the point of self gratification
But lately I’m just an afterthought
To all the new toys in town
Some of them male some female
But they love having you around
I don’t know what’s happened to us
I was never so selfish that I wouldn’t share
I even invited you into my Trinity
You remember,
that orgasmic night Lilac was there?
I’ve never left you in the solitude
That sometimes leaves you haunted
I keep your Spanish waters flowing
Out of my hearts quill my love is flaunted
When you walked into my class of
African American Lit
And we played our first game
Of 69 Roulette
When I trapped you in my pen
And the moistening made you wet
I wrote you Dis Oui
So you’d never forget...

You have always been
