in the dark
Shackled in my self
I breathe the same selfishness.
Chained in the dark,
I can see the light,
But I can’t touch it.
For ice cold waves
Push me slowly away,
Until the light shall be
Untouchable.
Cause I had light,
And I chose darkness.
I had warmth,
But I chose the cold.
And the Monster in the Mirror
Smiles to me.
And it’s claw
keeps squeezing me,
Until shattered him
In a thousand little pieces,
Now, a thousand Monsters
Smile at me trying to grab me
I breathe the same selfishness.
Chained in the dark,
I can see the light,
But I can’t touch it.
For ice cold waves
Push me slowly away,
Until the light shall be
Untouchable.
Cause I had light,
And I chose darkness.
I had warmth,
But I chose the cold.
And the Monster in the Mirror
Smiles to me.
And it’s claw
keeps squeezing me,
Until shattered him
In a thousand little pieces,
Now, a thousand Monsters
Smile at me trying to grab me
