The SURPRISING Message of Psalms 19.1-4

THE MESSAGE IN PSALMS 19.1-4:

In most English translations it says "THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD... There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard." But in the KJV when words are added which were not in the original Hebrew, they are written in italics. And we find "There is" and "where" are in italics. So the original Hebrew translated to English goes like this:

"No speech nor language. Their voice is not heard." It is literally telling us that the "declaration" that the skies are making is not audible. Not a matter of audio. Rather, verse 3 is telling us that the message is VISUAL.The message of Ps 19.1-4 is that the light of the stars is what we should focus on !! For verse 4 clearly  reads,"Their line has gone out to all the Earth." What does light come in? LINES. So "their line" is suggestive of what?? Rays of light.

But verse one says, "The heavens declare the glory of God."  How can starlight declare God's glory?? Well science "reads" the starlight by running it thru a spectroscope, etc, etc.

The main data we get from the stars (of other galaxies) is "the redshift." When the light is put thru a prism, there is more red than there should be. This tells us that the source of the light is receding. The red shift refers to the Dopplar Effect. Very simply, if you listen to a train whistle as it is coming to you and then as it passes you and then as it goes away from you, ther

e is a change in the pitch.

This is due to compression or else elongation of the sound waves. Well the same thing applies to light. The light waves become elongated as the star recedes from us. But my point is that all the galaxies are going away from us. The universe is expanding. This discovery by Edwin Hubble in the late 1920s led to the formulating of the Big Bang Theory.

Now since the Big Bang theory is based on the data in the light of the stars, we can say that the stars are DECLARING THE BIG BANG THEORY. While verse one says,"The heavens declare the glory of God," we can paraphrse that like this: The stars in the heavens are declaring the glory of God. And what are the stars declaring?? That the universe is expanding - in other words, the Big Bang ! So if the stars are declaring the Big Bang at the same time that they are declaring the glory of God, this implies that the Big Bang = the glory of God !! Try to get that into your heads !!             For more info contact joe grace at 434 8086936.
