Falling Shadows

.

Waiting on the falling,  
much like dreaming,     
Raining, feeding &    
life giving,
it's journey
meandering down from  
mountain tops     
finally reaching coastal shores     
    
Now the sun, rising,     
making out  
birds taking flight,     
in the sky     
riding     
warming wings     
casting     
dark shadows     
against the wall     
earthbound;     
Spreading over you and me,     
finding us without sound,     

Hands reaching out     
across the void,     
making flight,   
waiting on the falling
shadows.
