Refrained Desires
(a quatern)
How can refrain repeated so suggest?
My every part sustains vibrations’ hum,
That cries for outward find of love expressed.
How can restrain endure these drives which come?
For in excites, such truth, revealed your all,
How can refrain repeated so suggest?
For in this state does true release recall,
Yet still our building want inclines redress.
When filling cup to swallow all, impressed
In waiting time of our agreed distract.
How can refrain repeated so suggest?
When venture next, we cannot wait to act.
Right now! I stand that you might catch my eye,
The sight that both have heart to heart confessed,
That soon will raise to last the sought comply,
How can refrain repeated so suggest?
