What happened to the youth of today?

A lad born the 80's, the first generation
To sit and play the on the Sony Playstation

Fast forward some years and see what's become
Fat kids all around unable to run

What happened to bikes, footballs and craic
Does nobody play out front or the back?

We live in a world where opinions don't matter
It's all PC garbage and you're unable to flatter

I don't see how we shape a world well
When it's easy on a keyboard to say go to hell!

What will become of the next 30 years
Will folk even speak or do people not care?

I glad I was born into an easier time
A time I can be fond of, the last of its kind







The social aspect of life as we knew it
Is gone down the toilet
