Obscurity

Ambient light flickers into the recesses of oblivion
final thoughts came and went
not knowing what mattered
Heaven or Hell
who's to tell
in a slanted slope of twisted truths

Stunned in silent rewind
pressing buttons to postulate
photo shopped grounds
ever changing in a shadowed sound
the beast suffocating the free
as the shepherd howls

Cornered on a cliff with eyes closed
grasping at straws
entitled to untie the boots of ancestral gray
matter facts don't lie
amongst hereos in the sky

Awake from that celestial dream
where love was never seen
into open arms backwards i lean
trusting of others an inevitable fate
into obscurity i roll on
no love just hate
