The Good, the Spy and the Demonized

This is not prose. This is  a fiction based dialogue.

Until recently voices were regarded as a symptom of a mental illness and not talked about because of fear of stigma. Hearing voices is still considered by psychiatry as an auditory hallucination and as a symptom of conditions such as schizophrenic disorders, manic depression and psychosis.

... ... ...

A male voice: "What did you say your name was?"

Daniels: " My name? ... Daniels...

A male voice: "Fill the blanks..."

Daniels: "Alice's miracles... I'm a rainbow... ...
... *Alice in Wonderland* meets an anthropomorphic man named Daniels...
*Farewell*...what else can be said to a rainbow named Daniels?...
And that's a Lincoln limo...The American flying flag from it.
The car is going over a bridge, probably heading for an airport..."[/b]

A male voice: "Fill the blanks..."

Daniels: "The rain's whine turns to your voice... Is it God's voice or is it my own voice?"

A male voice: "How did you guess, Daniels....
The surname Daniels derives ultimately from the Hebrew male personal name *Daniel*, ...
which means *God is my judge*,...
... and was borne by one of the most important prophets in the Bible..."

Daniels:"Now you fill the blanks"

A male voice: "Well you'll be bringing in your own personalities...
... ...and sweeping out the previous ones...
Finally you will sweep out yourself..."

Daniels: "I will want my share of the blanks I'm filling now... ..."

A male voice: "You mean you'll want your share of your present abscence ..."

Daniels: "Wow !... The weird stages of a complex and extemely delicate investigation... ..."

A male voice: "You can ... be silent ... concerning your own finite self..."

Daniels:" I'm learning by myself how I've gotta live in order to please myself...
This is, of course, the way I'll keep on living..."

A male voice: "Your memories won't be real.
You're just inventing a life, and then you'll fill in the gaps...
You've ceased to exist. You're inventing yourself..."

Damiels: "Am I filling both the gaps and the blanks now?"

A male voice: "Don't loose any sleep about... yourself... "

Daniels: "And that's a Lincoln limo...
The American flying flag from it.
The car is going over a bridge, probably heading for ... an airport... or an embassy...
I understand there is still work to be done,...
... so I can bet that ...that Lincoln limo... will do everything in its power ...
... to make sure I am abroad,... absent but happy in every respect... ..."

A male voice: "Take it easy, Daniels...
There *was* work to be done, and you got in there and did it. Remember?..."

Daniels: "If I'm absent and I pass by without helping myself, there will be hell to pay..."

A male voice:"Very sensible, Daniels...
You're 20 years old and you have commited an hypothetical suicide ...
Although you do not live with suicidal thoughts,... you're dead,...
...but you've been offered a most excellently made up life....
And that is the way the ones who commit suicide are demonized...
What then?... Then comes the trouble...
You look happy, Daniels...
There is music on the hi-fi...Andrew W.K.'s *The Devil's On Your Side*,...
and you seem to be sleeping with tv series *Timeless* season two...
Stay. That’s the message that you do not hear because you have died..."

Daniels: "So I'm telling you a tale of existentialism... ..."

A male voice: "You did not create your own values...
You did not determine a meaning for your life.
You did no create identity or value..."

Daniels: "So *someone else* created them...for me...
Existence precedes essence... Essence precedes existence..."

A male voice: " Accounts of your escape are vague, ...
and all mention that *someone else* showed reluctance to discuss it at length..."

Daniels: "... Existence precedes essence... Essence precedes existence...
Two roads diverge in a wood... I've only just taken the one less traveled by..."

A male voice: "Again..."

Daniels: "What is like to be a nobody ?"

A male voice: "It is impossible to be a nobody"
