Another Gaze

I gaze like there is no tomorrow
as I drown in her delicate blue
    
those eyes, those beautiful eyes    
beseeched before me    

a pendant of patience    
and peace, begging
of me to pounce    
    
the day pauses    
unannounced
in awe of her artistic
verve and vitality  
  
we both share a stare
in wonder as minds wander  
into unwritten pages, awaiting
to be fused together tonight
