Howay the lads!
Born in Newcastle
In sight of the Tyne
A kid growing up
Black and White in his mind
From the steps of St James'
To the old Tyne Bridge
To stottie and pease pudding in a knackered old fridge
We here on Tyneside will always be proud
A Geordie roar that's ever so loud
A Geordie at heart, I'll forever be
Howay the lads, this ones on me!
In sight of the Tyne
A kid growing up
Black and White in his mind
From the steps of St James'
To the old Tyne Bridge
To stottie and pease pudding in a knackered old fridge
We here on Tyneside will always be proud
A Geordie roar that's ever so loud
A Geordie at heart, I'll forever be
Howay the lads, this ones on me!
