Artichoke and Burgundy
Artichoke steamed with pulpy leaves like a cluster of souls ready to take angel wings and rise to be savored by the great Godhead to be consumed into oneness with the universe with hearty burgundy for the creatrix’s red hair whose wet tresses splash like kisses upon my hungry lips only to funnel across my tongue along with cream cheese dip where the totality of beauty bounces into me as one by one the dark green apostles fall away until the planet of plant grows thinner leaving the heart of the artichoke lotus a delicacy for my psychedelic tongue where the alchemy of succulence on my scientific tongue creates a vegetable caviar of rare flavor in a wine broth whose soup for the soul sinks into me like a recipe for love from a kitchen where the green globe is bared of its thorny crown.
