The Second Time Around Chance
She broke apart in my hands
Her cold rebuffs at my too confident caresses
And I turned away on an unforgivable memory
Our hammock of love by now much frayed
Could not save our fall to the all-familiar ground
Of old animosities newly aflame
Her cold rebuffs at my too confident caresses
And I turned away on an unforgivable memory
Our hammock of love by now much frayed
Could not save our fall to the all-familiar ground
Of old animosities newly aflame
