O! If I am the ocean,
I have no stars overhead.
Who can I be guiding home
With this desert between shores?
You said, “Its cold. I am cold.
And so many things have changed.
I do not know who I am anymore;
I’m not sure if I am anyone today.”
It is easy to miss you now
When you are by my side.
I will never forget to remember you,
With you in every space.
I will know you again
In a window that looks on
The ghosts of our summer flowers
With a bouquet of fresh, new stars
I will say that this ocean is ours.
I’m still in love. I’m still in love.
