I fantasized myself dismembered as the hurst and days drove by and by

Did I miss the arrows waning mark?
this old piano's strings are out of key?
you've never looked so pretty
bathing the confines of insanity.

Your flailing memory fades
as evergreen stomped out
in the burning reds,
orange,
and yellows of autumn rising among flames in the Appalachian foothills.
