I drive this truck right through town
Across those tracks
I find myself by the playground
Where we played
Your passion could set me free
In a world of you and me
I got the best you
But you broke my heart
All that’s left of me
Is here on this merry-go-round
Now you’re on the jungle-gym
I don’t know much about him
He gets what left of you

I get so dizzy from what could be

I feel you on this one. My soulmate knew for months he was leaving but never once mentioned it the times we were together. I find out a week before he left for good. Talk about hurt. I sometimes wonder if the reason I was never told was because he thought I would not be intimate with him anymore. Idk. Life is sure crazy sometimes and unless you hear it outright, we all are left to wonder what someone really thinks. I still love that guy with all my heart, or at least what is left of it...You are a good writer. I enjoy your work!

Thank you for your comments and compliments. Life is crazy at times, complicated. I guess we never know challenges someone faces. I really don’t about your situation, however maybe your soulmate didn’t want to hurt you, I guess if you going to cut off your finger, it’s best to make a clean cut instead of sawing at it for days. I don’t know that’s just MY take on it. Once again thanks.
