Reflection
Reflected in the mirror,
Before me shadowed there,
A vague and empty figure,
Stood cold and naked bare,
Missing the definition,
With slight a stony stare,
Beyond the vast ambition,
But opened up through fear,
Was weakened for some reason,
To what it did not share,
To question what was missing,
Something i did not dare,
I focused began to see,
Under the dark blonde hair,
I realised that it was me,
Standing before me there.
Reflected in the mirror,
Myself I'd not seen there,
The strength and faith in me,
That'd been in to take care,
Empowered and ready,
To break the inner lair,
Eject my self-made demons,
No not shed one more tear,
Strengthened beyond belief,
Resolve engrained from where?
The how not significant,
Long as a cross could bear,
Found my ground to stand on,
Won't give in to despair,
Not when there is all this,
In my heart I want to share.
