A New Birth

ocean heaving
up and down
crashing, splashing
all is sound

as pebbles roll in
and stones collide
in waves of waves
in which they ride

coming, leaving
rhythmically
ocean breathing
just like me

interacting
we're entwined
by the seaside
where I find

I'm transported
floating free
to a dream world
blissfully

by the rhythm
which we share
elevated
through the air

sunbeams, moonlight
in between
twisted currents
in a stream

this is how I
left the Earth
by the ocean
a new birth
