Postmortem

Was listening to this and out came this
Please listen while reading, Thanks.

Pixies & fireflies hide in plain view
beneath a midnight sky tucked
underneath a Harvest moon

Yellow and orange painted leaves
dispatch and wave goodbye
with no sound to be heard
when passing by.

Raindrops fall and shift gears
washing death away another day
soon another year

loves dying kiss hitched a ride
aboard an autumn breeze,
Moonlight Sonata serenades
familiar uncertainties,
silencing the beast in me...
