Walking The Dog

White curtains drawn
her silhouette captured
in the big bay window
facing the street

A dog stops to sniff
an intriguing patch of grass
the owner surveys the landscape
and stops upon the heat

A second figure enters
towards her shadowed definition
the details of her body
inspire a hope that they will meet

It all begins to happen
the other drops upon their knees
and the rising of her breasts
provides his duty with a treat
