Inner Sanctum

I’ve finally made peace with my regrets
And have lifted the weight off my shoulders
As a faithful follower of light, I feel blessed
To have endured through even the darkest moments like a battle-hardened soldier.

I use my tears as portals to visions of a bright future
A place and time where I’m at peace
Where the world is full of miracles and their wonders  
All the stress and my regrets are released.

I’ve found my inner sanctum; I’ll gladly march and sing this anthem
I have a place for my soul to dock; I’ve found the key to open the lock
No one can ever take this from me; No one can ever harm me
Here in this sacred place; I’ve ascended through the levels of space.

I use my tears as portals to visions of what can be
As long as I stay true to myself
The sunlight lets my eyes to see
The evil that’s constantly repelled.

What unknown fate awaits me?
Have I made the right choices?
I know that I must always believe
And cleanse my soul of the poison.
