With Mouths of Praise

(a quatern)

Delight in every pilgrim’s run,
Whose alter, knees will supplicate,
In worship bows, with prayers begun,
Whose worship brings love’s implicate.

In tongues we raise, our hymns restate
Delight in every pilgrim’s run,
Baptize in sweet communion’s sate,
To feast the host and cup ‘til done.

Madonna and the risen son,
With mouths, devoted love conflate
Delight in every pilgrim’s run,
In chapter and verse consecrate.

Our sins, now bathed, illuminate,
Ablutions have our lusts undone,
The coming of forgiveness' state,
Delight in every pilgrim’s run.

Author's Note
Religious praise as a metaphor for oral sex - hallelujah! Spelling of "alter" is intentional.
"run" also means "flow or cause to flow, be covered or streaming with (a particular liquid),
emit or exude a liquid, melt and become fluid."

just saying.
