You have a good heart, Duende.  You seem to live simply and are satisfied.  You lament the shortages suffered by others.  I think of Puerto Rico when I read this, and how help was so long in arriving and so much more is needed.  A fine write, and very moving.

I live indeed simply, but far from satisfied. That's why I try to keep things in perspective. I worked with refugees... they don't understand we have stress, because we have a passport. Great to hear you thought this was moving.

Simply spreading the love you have to give is doing more than you can imagine...now imagine it multiplied by the billions that walk this planet... yea, amazing huh? :)

Mahatma Gandhi once said "The day the power of love overrules the love of power, the world will know peace" I thought about that when I read your comment... we have a long way to go, but until then: let's spread the love :-)

There is...  I think it's important to keep things into perspective... focus on what we do have in stead of what is lacking, to stand still by those less fortunate.
