I
have a temper
not so easy solicited
When you've visited
as many once thriving
metropolises as I have
now ghost towns
where empty houses reside
there's no bowing to crowns
choosing do over die
Semper Fi
If you're ignorant enough to ask
Why? Question poetic justice
writ by God's own hand
To stand on the right side of history
takes little effort when you look out
for community throughout the land
not the saving of your own
miserable skinned hide
Faithless, far from crucified, baking
in the sun on my timbers up high
you chose died over done,
Son
just another poet or song writer
dimed a dozen
Baby, I can't dig someone
who is hardly a righteous man
Understand?

another fascinating write, I was sorry to here about your electronics and hope there wasn't too much damage and you didn't get completely flooded out. Yeah ghost towns look very sad I have never been in one, you say you've seen many that would be too creepy for me! now when you mentioned Semper Fi did you mean :
Semper fidelis (Latin pronunciation: [ˈsɛm.pɛr fɪˈdeː.lɪs]) is a Latin phrase that means "always faithful" or "always loyal". It is the motto of the United States Marine Corps, usually shortened to Semper Fi. It is also in use as a motto for towns, families, schools, and military units.
Were you a marine, I never knew that?

same difficulty with this, it sounds like you are the crucifier, the timers are yours? an you are talking to someone else "you Chose", you refer to him as "Son" are you talking about Jesus?
"Just another poet or song writer - dimed a dozen" from my reading it seems very negative unless you mean that they are dimed a dozen by numbers rather than talent which here we encourage.
All in all a good poem would be perfect with a few fixes - well done!
